UC Upstart Teo Takes Wraps Off Elite Partner Program
There are plenty of vendors in the unified communications (UC) space outside big names such as Polycom and Avaya. Case in point: Teo. Teo answers a variety of UC needs including E911 technology, and it’s ramping up its partner program to get the word out. If you’re a UC VAR looking to add some flavor, take a look at what Teo can offer you …
Teo’s plan, like so many partner programs before it, is to expand its reach in the UC marketplace. The Teo Elite Partner Program has been designed to “extend the benefits of its innovative unified communications to a wider audience, while removing limitations of a tiered channel program structure,” according to the company. Its goal is also to recruit as many partners as it can by making it as easy as possible to join up, sell and deploy its UC technology, which covers everything from standard UC and VoIP hardware, software and handsets to more specialized solutions such as E911 and security-focused TSG-6 solutions.
So what makes Teo’s partner program so special? Teo boasts it’s the arsenal of partner tools that dovetail into a range of perks and incentives. Teo partners have access to dedicated channel mangers, joint marketing support and training and support for developing specific partner program portfolios. According to Teo, all these features are accessible without “complex layers,” since Teo has gone out of its way to remove any abstractions or ambiguities within the partner program itself. Teo’s press release was scant on more details, but Teo is encouraging all interested parties to check out its partner portal.
Be sure to also check out recent UC moves in the channel, which include the ongoing relationship between Jenne Inc. and Avaya, Polycom‘s moves and relative newcomers such as Blue Jeans Network.
