PAETEC Training Focuses on VoIP
For the past two Channel Partners trade shows, show sponsor PAETEC (Booths 213-215) has led certified training, focusing on MPLS. This time, the CLEC dives into VoIP, which has gone past the gee whiz factor, executives say, and into the realm where solutions providers need answers to questions ranging from the how-tos of migration and implementation to the technologys future.
John Chapman, director of product development, and Bill Mutschler, manager of product development, will tag-team during the interactive three-hour session. Chapman says they will keep the information generic and non-PAETEC, so all partners can glean usable insight.
The presenters will cover the VoIP gamut and provide an update on next-generation technology and industry perspectives, discuss key business drivers and product applications enterprises are eyeing, and address the issue of whether to go with an IP PBX or a hosted service, and more.
Everythings maturing from the technology to the product stage, says Mutschler. Its products versus hype. … People are becoming very focused on ROI. To that end, the PAETEC forum also will help partners learn to analyze whether there will be a real return on investment for their end users, so they can better advise those clients purchases. PAETEC will mail certificates to solutions providers who complete the training.
