Cosentry Joins Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider Program
Cosentry announced on Tuesday its participation in the Microsoft Cloud Solution Provider program, through which it will offer managed Office 365 services in addition to its managed Microsoft Azure services.
Its involvement in the cloud solution provider program allows Cosentry to sell combined offers and services, as well as directly bill for Microsoft services, Cosentry said.
Microsoft launched its Cloud Solution Provider partner program at last year’s Worldwide Partner Conference, and recently began enabling partners to offer the entire portfolio of Microsoft solutions and services and create custom offerings for end user customers.
“Cosentry has worked closely with Microsoft to technically validate our services and enable best-practice solutions for hybrid cloud deployments, including connections to Microsoft Azure global cloud,” Cosentry CEO Brad Hokamp said in a statement. “The combination of our hybrid cloud consulting and managed services expertise simplifies the adoption of the public cloud for our customers, allowing them to focus their internal resources on more strategic initiatives that support business growth and market differentiation.”
Cosentry said its managed Azure services include architecture planning, implementation, and migration, governance, monitoring, account and identity management, as well as optional services such as data backup and disaster recovery.
Managed Office 365 services from Cosentry include an initial environment assessment and performance recommendations, consulting services, migration and deployment expertise, and architecting hybrid environments that sync Office 365 with on-premise Exchange.
“The Cloud Solution Provider Program puts our partners at the center of the customer relationship,” Phil Sorgen, corporate VP, Worldwide Partner Group at Microsoft said. “Through participation these partners have demonstrated dedication to helping our mutual customers successfully move to the cloud.”
Cosentry has 9 data centers across the Midwest, including locations in Omaha, Milwaukee, Kansas City, St. Louis and Sioux Falls.
