InfoHighway Expands Network Offerings in Four Markets
Channel Partners Conference & Expo sponsor InfoHighway Communications (Booth 201), a New Yorkbased provider of business telecommunications network solutions, announced it has expanded its portfolio of network-based offerings into parts of Massachusetts, Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C. This expansion will allow InfoHighway to offer its flagship product, Hosted PBX, as well as its integrated T1 service to customers in these four markets.
Hosted PBX is InfoHighways VoIP offering that combines the enhanced features of an IP PBX, the reliability of traditional PBX platforms and the flexibility of open, standards-based networking.
Hosted PBX is the ideal choice for customers looking to take advantage of IP telephony without the costs associated with purchasing and maintaining a premise-based system, said Linda ONeill, InfoHighways general manager for the New England region. They get all their services local, long-distance, high-speed Internet from one company, and with our flat-rate calling packages, their monthly bill can be the same month after month. Hosted PBX can tie all the customers locations, even remote work-at-home offices, together seamlessly via four-digit dialing, and all calls between offices are always free.
InfoHighways Integrated T1 product allows customers to combine their voice and Internet needs over one circuit, allowing them the flexibility to configure the number of phone lines and the Internet bandwidth that best fits their business needs. And since the bandwidth on the circuit is dynamically allocated, the company said, the capacity of Internet access increases when phone lines are idle by making use of capacity dedicated to those voice lines. When there are calls, voice traffic will always have priority. Thus businesses get maximum utilization and value from their Integrated T1 while ensuring the highest quality of service for voice calls.
Also as part of this network expansion, InfoHighways network-based digital voice T1, ISDN PRI and high-speed dedicated Internet access services also will be available to customers in the Massachusetts 128 LATA.
The launch of these new services is consistent with our goal of continuing to grow our product portfolio and offer leading-edge products and services to both our customers and agent partners, said Raul K. Martynek, InfoHighways president and CEO. The marketplace and underlying technologies are both changing on almost a daily basis, and InfoHighway is committed to keeping on top of both.
